Before moving to video, Anna Sophie spent several years covering the arts in China for KQED Radio, KALW Radio, SF Gate, BUST, Giant Robot, Pacific News Service, and Maximum Rock-roll. She is a graduate of the Columbia School of Journalism and won an Overseas Press Club Foundation, Roy Rowan Scholarship for Aspiring Foreign Correspondents. She also wrote for China`s first English-language, bi-weekly magazine "Beijing Scene" from Beijing.
